You will be fully conversant will all aspects of Online Surveying and data processing and you will have the experience and desire to perform the following to a high standard: - Setting up and Installing various software. - Operating a number of Acquisition systems. - Launching and recovering subsea equipment including Towfish, Transponders and CTD. - navigating the vessel and directing the ROV operations. - Efficiently logging all data to keep the survey log up to date. - Effectively processing the data, entering the data in relevant software and commutating the data to ROV and online teams. - Carrying out fault finding and maintaining equipment and data network. Skills / Knowledge required include: - Engineering diploma/degree within electronics or other relevant discipline. - Extensive knowledge of navigational, geophysical and subsea equipment. - Computer literate with a vast understanding of hardware, software and operating systems. - Excellent communication and team working skills are essential. - A systematic and thorough approach to all tasks performed. - The ability to perform well under pressure and in a challenging environment.
