Offshore Marine Academy

The Offshore Marine Academy was founded by Offshore Marine Management to address skills gaps in the offshore renewables industry.

It consists of a entry programme which takes groups of trainees through a  one-year curriculum where they gain the necessary qualifications to enable them to work offshore. The Offshore Marine Academy also offers training courses covering a wide range of topics, aimed at individuals who already have some offshore experience.

Coastal Marine Trust was founded in 2007 by the owners of Offshore Marine Management. This not-for-profit organisation is focused on enhancing the quality of life for coastal communities by a variety of means including-: youth clubs, providing equipment and summer camps. Funding from the trust primarily comes from Offshore Marine Management, and its project partners.
